I am shocked saddened and ashamed thati have only just found out about the death of one of the few teachers i had that left a huge impression on me. Paul taught me at Roger Manwood from 76- 82, he was quite simply a fantastic and heroic man. Roger manwoood was a fairly rough inner London school and for an openly gay teacher it could have been a battlefield. Paul, took it on with bravery and humour. He set me on the road to wanting a stage career and I now work on local radio in Spain, so I have, sort of, stuck to his wish for me to be in entertainment. I am in tears. RIP Paul, I'm sorry we never caught up, I hope I would have made you proud. x
