David Henry 30th May 2008

I would like to share my sincerest condolences on the recent passing Paul Patrick on behalf of the Queer Youth Network. Paul's unlimited energy, courage and dedication to achieving freedom and a better quality of life for so many others have become part of a legacy which we are eternally grateful. Having had the opportunity to work with Paul on several occasions on a number of campaigns and projects in the past I would like to express how much of an impact his positively outstanding personality and character shone so brightly towards everyone around him. I last saw Paul Patrick at Student Pride at Manchester University last Summer where he was running the stall next to ours for the day. He was running the Schools Out! LGBT History Month stall by himself and kept us entertained and in good spirits. Our deepest sympathies and thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone at Schools Out! at this sad time. His life will not be forgotten as we are reminded every day in how he has tirelessly utilised his own to transform ours. Sleep in Peace. David Henry Queer Youth Network
