On behalf of the members of the Civil Service Rainbow Alliance (CSRA), I would like to convey our sadness at the death of Paul Patrick. Paul was a dedicated campaigner for, and champion of, LGB & T rights for many years. In setting up and helping run Schools Out he exposed the homophobia and transphobia that occurs in schools and colleges across the UK. He also gave a voice to those young people who were unable to voice their concerns or whose voices were stifled. Many CSRA members have said how impressed they were with the way that Paul spoke with such great enthusiasm about LGB & T history and how impressed they were with his undeniable passion to effect change in the education system for LGB & T young people.
